GASEXT are
manufactured in stainless steel construction and its
versatile design is compatible for use with wide
range of pellistor sensors. Thus GASEXT-108 is suitable for use in almost
every onshore and offshore application.
The Sensor has the unique benefit of interchangeability between pellistor
and sinter. This provides better thermal
stability over a wider range. GASEXT-108 is available with a range of
accessories as required for the applications,
including weather protection and calibration adaptors.
GASEXT-108 flammable is certified Ex-d and is a 3 wire device which can be
used in conjunction with a interface
device. The pellistor is driven from a 300mA constant current supply which
is adjusted on the Interface Module
to develop a 2V drop across the pellistor. The GASEXT-108 electronics
operate on a 24V loop and is compatible
with a wide range of receiving devices such as panel mounted
indicators / recorders, PLC/DCS Systems including
the custom built third party systems.
During normal operation the display
indicates gas concentration. As an option the display can be
left blank.
Calibration mode and other operational programmes are available and are
accessed from the front panel
push-button.
FEATURES:
